WoodSpring Suites Tucson-South

I really like the customer service and help by the counter clerk. I also like the convenience of shopping and eatery nearby. The only thing that could be improved at this establishment is automatic entry and exit doors for those with walkers, wheel chairs and scooters. Also more handicap parking spaces. Otherwise, I highly recommend this extended stay hotel.

Staff was nice rooms for clean and nice they had 24-hour coffee but no breakfast but in walking distance a mini restaurants

I'm impressed with the service and front desk staff. The housekeeping is top tier when they clean the hotel. You can see how well they maintain the place when you enter the foyer . The hotel is by Dave and busters, movie theater, and Walmart. There's fast food all around within walking distance. It's pretty dope here!

I’m always taken care of. The staff are the most generous people . Irving, to be specific always goes out of his way to ask how I’m doing and if there is anything that I need. Weather it’s more soap, towels or shampoo. He never fails me.

The room was very comfortable for our stay, the only issue we had was the lack sound proofing. But if you bring a sound machine or if you have ear plugs it will be fine. My husband who is a sound sleeper noted that certain sounds were very noticeable. But, besides that the staff is very kind. The location is close to many different amenities that were useful to us during our business stay. From delicious food to easy access around town. It's a very practical place to stay with a comfortable bed and large refrigerator/kitchenette. If you plan on staying for an extended time they have pots and pans for purchase, a nice gym, and laundry access for you to freshen your things during your stay. *Note* My husband is 6'4" you can see his feet hang off the bed. But that is due to his height.

Irving truly sets the standard for hospitality at the WoodSpring Suites in the Tucson Arizona Marketplace. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and completely at home. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went far beyond what we expected and made our stay exceptional. Irving consistently went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect, always greeting us with a positive attitude and a willingness to help. It’s rare to encounter someone who cares so deeply about guests and takes such pride in their work. He absolutely deserves a raise—employees like Irving are the reason this location stands out. Because of him, we will continue coming back year after year. WoodSpring Suites is incredibly lucky to have him on their team!

What you see is what you get, nothing more :) I did not find anything interesting in the hotel or in the close proximity, and there is a big construction site around the hotel, so the view is not very pleasant. Free parking is great, and there are food places 6-7 minutes away by car. Rooms are average, but clean, and comfortable. Perfect if you travel for work and only need a decent place to sleep and shower.
